Marvel Studios recently launched a new Phase 6 project on Disney+ featuring Thanos, and unveiled a unique, three-part official poster to accompany it. Since the debut of *WandaVision* in 2021, Marvel Studios has been a major presence on Disney+, but 2025 has been especially successful, delivering fresh and innovative stories to fans.
I’m so hyped for *Marvel Zombies* – the second series in Phase 6! Marvel Studios just dropped this really cool poster, and it’s packed with all these zombified versions of our favorite heroes and villains. We’re talking Thanos, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Abomination, Wasp, and even Ant-Man and Hank Pym! What’s interesting is that instead of being a tall, standard poster, it’s actually wider than it is tall. Apparently, there’s a reason for that design choice, which is pretty neat.
Marvel Studios didn’t just release one official image; they released a design that can be displayed as a single large poster or divided into three individual posters, all without altering the artwork.
The poster’s left side prominently features Thanos, finally bringing his storyline to a close. His Infinity Gauntlet is the central focus at the bottom, and behind him you can see other zombies and recognizable characters like Abomination.
As a film buff, I’ve been studying this poster closely, and I’ve noticed something interesting about the middle section. Wanda Maximoff is positioned pretty far back, but she still clearly feels like the central figure in that part. You can also spot Okoye, Captain America, and Hawkeye. What really caught my eye, though, is that we only see Abomination’s left arm peeking in from the side, which makes it obvious this poster is just a piece of a much bigger picture.
The right side of the poster highlights Captain Marvel and Hank Pym. While they appear in the full poster, they’re much more noticeable when the poster is divided into thirds. Thor and his weapon, Stormbreaker, also stand out in this section.
Although the large poster and its three accompanying pieces don’t include all the key characters from *Marvel Zombies*, they do highlight many of the most important zombie heroes and villains.
All four episodes of Marvel Zombies are now streaming on Disney+.
Where is the Marvel Zombies Hero Poster?
The new poster for *Marvel Zombies* prominently features the zombie characters. However, fans have noticed the lack of a major poster showcasing the human characters. This is because the zombies are the central focus of the show and a relatively new concept for Marvel Studios. Simply put, posters often feature heroes in their normal form, so it’s more interesting to highlight the unique zombie designs.
Previous posters for *Marvel Zombies* have all highlighted the zombie aspects of the show, and it looks like Marvel Studios continued this focus with all of their promotional materials.
By the end of *Marvel Zombies*, very few heroes remain alive – roughly two dozen major characters die throughout the series. Despite this, the finale hinted at the possibility of a second season, and given the show’s success for Marvel Studios, it’s likely we’ll see one developed.
If the show gets a second season, we might see a new poster featuring the characters who made it through the first one.
