Fortunately, the game’s first trailer already features this memorable horror line, making it a relatively straightforward objective! Enjoy.

Those sights are undeniably intense, Mr. Pinhead, sir. I must warn you that the red-band trailer is decidedly not safe for work or young audiences. To put it mildly, Hellraiser: Revival appears to be a truly terrifying horror game, set to make its mark on this generation of consoles. (It’s bound for PS5, XBox Series X, and Steam.) The level of gore displayed is astonishingly realistic.

Considering the idea of physically shoving Chatterer’s head backwards by my own hands is scarier than anything else this vile character might inflict upon me. To be honest, I wouldn’t really want to engage in combat with any of the original four Cenobites as seen in the trailer. You can count on there being plenty of unexpected twists and turns along the way too.

Not only is it fascinating to hear Doug Bradley reprise his role as the central villain, but it’s hard to believe he was only 33 when the original Hellraiser was made, and now he’s turning 71 this year! Pinhead’s growl is still just as powerful, making it even more chilling. I can hardly wait for the rest of his performance, although it might mean bracing myself for the formidable CD HEAD!!

Clive Barker announced his plans to revisit the franchise with the intention of guiding it towards a fresh path, as he himself stated.

Developing the first authentic Hellraiser game has been an exploration into the depths of my darkest thoughts. The commitment from Saber and Boss Team Games is truly astounding. They’ve dived headfirst into the Hellraiser universe, managing to encapsulate its core – the allure of torment, the exquisiteness concealed within the grotesque. They’ve crafted a story that entices players to cross the boundary. I can hardly wait for both the intrigued and the damned to encounter this new installment in the Hellraiser lore, where each instance teeters on the edge of terror and enlightenment.

Among all the 2025 horror movies I’m looking forward to, Hellraiser: Revival isn’t necessarily my top choice with unmatched excitement, but it has a good chance. If future trailers and initial reviews are positive, it might just edge out the competition by a whisker, or even win by a narrow margin, much like a game decided by a pin through a nose.
