The latest season of Daredevil finished airing a little over two months ago, and many Marvel fans were hoping to see Spider-Man and Daredevil team up in the next Spider-Man movie. However, the way the Born Again season ended makes that crossover very unlikely.

Daredevil: Born Again’s Season Finale Kills a Possible Spider-Man Team-Up

Okay, so the latest season was a wild ride! Basically, Matt Murdock finally decided to go public with the fact that he is Daredevil, which was a huge move. It totally helped nail Wilson Fisk and expose all his dirty dealings, but it backfired on Matt pretty quickly. Once Fisk was gone, Matt finally got one night to enjoy being with Karen, but then… boom! He gets arrested for everything Daredevil’s done. The season ends with him behind bars, which is just heartbreaking because it means he can’t protect Hell’s Kitchen anymore. It’s a real cliffhanger!

This development throws a wrench into fans’ expectations of seeing Daredevil appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. After Matt Murdock unexpectedly showed up in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer, many thought Marvel was building towards a larger team-up between the two heroes.
