The latest sets of starter decks for Disney Lorcana: Whispers In The Well come in Amber/Emerald and Sapphire/Steel combinations. These decks include beloved Disney characters such as Simba (from The Lion King), Megara (Hercules), Judy Hopps (Zootopia), and Robin Hood. You’ll also find returning characters like Scrooge McDuck and Daisy, plus popular favorites like Genie (Aladdin) and Nick Wilde (Zootopia).

Okay, so I was reading that Taylor Sheridan, the guy behind so many great shows and movies lately, is leaving Paramount. Apparently, he’s signed a deal with NBCUniversal – a major competitor! It sounds like he’s got a big five-year plan for all sorts of projects – films, TV series, streaming stuff – and it all kicks off on January 1st, 2029. It’s a pretty big move, honestly, and I’m really curious to see what he does over there.

Disney hasn’t produced a lot of anime, but Star Wars: Visions has been a huge hit. It’s already been renewed for a third season on Disney+, and it’s opening doors for more anime content overall, as well as more stories set in the Star Wars universe. Depending on how fans react to Star Wars: Visions: Volume 3, we might even see a full spin-off series based on it.

While Chainsaw Man is enjoying a lot of success this year, it’s not the only anime doing well. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle, which came out a few months earlier, was a huge hit with both audiences and critics. Demon Slayer fits neatly into the popular Shōnen category – which, in Japan, refers to both a target audience and a style of storytelling. Chainsaw Man, however, does things differently. It takes the elements of a blockbuster and uses them to tell a more subdued, focused, and emotionally resonant story, raising the bar for Shōnen anime. Although Demon Slayer was very successful, Chainsaw Man stood out with its concise storytelling and more personal approach.
