Filming for the third season of House of the Dragon is mostly finished, and we’re starting to hear about new actors joining the cast. Pearl Clark has been cast as Princess Jaehaera Targaryen, according to Redanian Intelligence.

As a huge fan of the Kay Scarpetta novels, I’m thrilled to see the series finally get a TV adaptation! With almost 30 books in the series, there’s plenty of material to work with. What’s really interesting about the Prime Video series is that they’re tackling two books – Postmortem and the more recent Autopsy – at the same time. They’re telling the story across two timelines, showing Kay at different points in her life. Rosy McEwen is fantastic as the younger Kay, and it’s brilliant to see Nicole Kidman playing the older version of the character.

Director Zack Snyder celebrated the upcoming five-year anniversary of his film, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, with a post on Instagram. He noted the milestone and shared a memorable exchange between characters Diana and Bruce: Diana says, “You said the age of heroes would never come again,” and Bruce replies, “It will. It has to.” Snyder reflected on the film’s continued impact, adding, “Five years later… and the age of heroes still feels very real.”
Developing the sequel to The Batman hasn’t been easy. After a long writing process and several setbacks, a major change occurred when cinematographer Greig Fraser left the project and was replaced by Erik Messerschmidt. Now, even before filming starts, Messerschmidt has shared some images on Instagram that have fans believing the new movie will be significantly more frightening than the original.
The new series, The Audacity, will debut on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, April 12th. AMC Networks has already renewed the show for a second season, which will also have eight episodes. This news comes right before the series premieres at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas.
The next Super Mario Bros. Movie will keep Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and Rosalina quite busy! While Bowser and his son, Bowser Jr., along with their minions, will be the main threat, other familiar enemies from the Mario games will appear, including Mouser, Megaleg, Clawgrip, Birdo, and even Wart, who hasn’t been seen in a Mario game since Super Mario Bros. 2.
Honestly, it felt like Star Wars was losing some of its spark, and all the fan chatter about where things should go wasn’t helping. But the publishing team really surprised me! They gave the comics a chance to stand on their own, separate from the main series. And wow, it’s made a huge difference! The comic creators have so much more freedom to be bold and take risks, and they’re bringing that exciting, edgy feel back to Star Wars in ways I never expected. It’s really refreshing!
