Many people are eagerly anticipating the story of The Batman 2, hoping it will be as good as, or even better than, the first film in the DC Elseworlds series. While 2025 wasn’t a great year for fans of The Batman, things are looking promising for the future.

The first season of Vivziepop’s Hazbin Hotel quickly became one of the most popular adult animated shows of recent years, and now it’s back with a new season.
The decision to replace Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia sparked a lot of debate among fans. Although Cavill had issues with the role, Liam Hemsworth received backing from the show’s creators. Despite this, the change clearly affected the show, as Season 4 of The Witcher received its lowest critic score ever on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fans are still enthusiastically celebrating the movie, and now they have another chance to see it in theaters! KPop Demon Hunters will be back on the big screen for Halloween weekend, inspiring even more creative costumes. The movie was already a huge hit on Netflix, and a limited theatrical release in August earned $18 million.
John-Michael Powell’s Violent Ends takes itself very seriously, but ironically comes across as somewhat superficial. The film relies on familiar tropes without offering any new perspective, which is immediately noticeable in how Emma’s death is presented. Despite intending to evoke strong emotion, the film doesn’t give the audience enough reason to truly feel the loss. We see a single, sweet scene of Lucas and Emma together, followed by brief appearances of her before her death. While the actress has natural charm, she’s limited by the character’s lack of depth. The use of the “dead wife” trope – flashbacks showing happy moments presented as a montage of disconnected, overly cheerful scenes – feels unintentionally silly, like a commercial rather than a genuine emotional portrayal.
I’m so excited to share that filming for Season 2 of Ahsoka is officially done! Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka, announced it on social media – she even shared a photo of the awesome metal posters she gave to the entire crew as a thank you. The artwork features Ahsoka and it’s truly epic. What a cool way to show appreciation for all their hard work!
