The sci-fi horror series From will return for its fourth season on MGM+ on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 9:00 pm Eastern and Pacific time. A new trailer has also been released, hinting at the season’s theme with the tagline, “Knowledge comes at a cost.”

Disney+ has announced the main creative team behind its upcoming live-action series, Eragon, which is based on Christopher Paolini’s popular Inheritance Cycle books (according to Deadline).

I still think about the amazing anime heroes from the 90s all the time! Seriously, they’re some of the best characters ever created. Whether it was action-packed Shonen, sweet Shojo, mature Seinens, or giant robot shows, these protagonists were just so well-developed. You really felt like you were growing with them, and it made the whole experience incredibly rewarding.

I was watching a behind-the-scenes featurette about The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and Peter Jackson talked about how he really played with Tolkien’s dialogue. He said they’d actually take lines originally meant for characters like Elrond and give them to Aragorn instead! Sometimes dialogue that was supposed to happen in a beautiful place like Lothlórien would end up being spoken in the dark Mines of Moria. But he felt it still felt like Tolkien because it was still his actual wording. He was so sure this would work that he even did it with Galadriel’s very first lines, and apparently, nobody even noticed! It’s amazing how much freedom he took while still respecting the source material.

The latest issue of DC K.O.: Knightfight #3 revealed a new member of the Bat-family: Alfred Wayne, the grandson of Bruce Wayne and son of Damian Wayne. This surprising reveal happened at the end of the issue, after Bruce Wayne was sent to another reality – thanks to the Heart of Apokolips – where Damian is Batman.

In 2022, HBO announced its streaming service, MAX, would be the home of Scavengers Reign. This unique show blends adult animation with the grand scope of classic science fiction, creating a truly captivating and emotional experience. However, none of these recent choices have caused as much disagreement among viewers as a surprising villain twist from 2013.

Christian Bale revealed in an Entertainment Weekly interview that the six-hour makeup process for his role as “Frank” became a surprisingly useful outlet for his emotions. He explained that he’d start screaming and yelling during the transformation to cope with the darkness of the character. It turned into a funny on-set tradition, as other cast and crew members eventually joined in his vocal outbursts!
