As a devoted fan of the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas, I eagerly await my next adventure back to a distant galaxy, which will unfold on the big screen in May 2026 with Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Grogu. Although Disney+ has introduced several television shows since then, nothing compares to the thrill of experiencing this epic saga in a movie theater.

In the storyline of the Alien movie series, the film titled Alien: Earth takes place two years prior to the events depicted in the 1979 original film. This narrative does not incorporate the happenings of the prequels. The main cast features Timothy Olyphant as character Kirsh, who serves as a mentor to Wendy, played by Sydney Chandler, who is the first human-synthetic hybrid. The Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Verse series started with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018. This was followed by the 2023 release of its sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. A third film, titled Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, is currently being developed and is set to premiere in June 2027.
