All 4 Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Clips Released So Far

Before the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is released, Sony Pictures is sharing small previews with fans to build excitement. While the trailer is coming out relatively late – only four months before the movie hits theaters – Brand New Day will have a shorter official promotional period than most Marvel Cinematic Universe films. To compensate for this, Sony and Marvel are releasing a few exciting glimpses to get fans eager for the first MCU movie of 2026.

To build excitement for the full trailer coming out on Wednesday, March 18, Sony Pictures shared four very brief clips from the first look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day. These clips, mostly around two seconds long and totaling just 11 seconds, show Tom Holland back in action as Spider-Man for the first time since the massive hit, Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). They offer fans a quick preview of what’s to come in the new movie, though the trailer’s total length is still unknown.

Every Clip Already Released from Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Spider-Man Comic Cover Recreated

The trailer for Brand New Day opens with a five-second shot of Tom Holland as Spider-Man swinging through New York City, holding a suspect under one arm. The scene uses a subtle grey filter, but the bright white lenses of his mask and the new black Spider-Man logo on his chest are still clearly visible. At this time, the person he’s carrying hasn’t been identified.

As a huge Spider-Man fan, I was immediately struck by how accurately this image captures that iconic cover from Amazing Fantasy #15 – you know, his very first appearance back in 1962! It’s a perfect recreation of that classic pose, with Spider-Man holding the villain in a green suit just like Stan Lee and Steve Ditko originally drew it.

Tom Holland Sans Spider-Man Suit

The new trailer features the usual superhero excitement, and also gives fans their first glimpse of Tom Holland as Peter Parker, now living a secret life separate from his Spider-Man persona. In the clip, Holland is shown exhausted and collapses in what appears to be an old warehouse or subway station, having been bundled up in a hoodie and jacket.

Without knowing what happened before, it’s clear Peter is in a tough spot, likely after a fight with one of the movie’s villains. Considering Michael Mando is playing Mac Gargan, who later becomes the Scorpion, it’s possible this villain poisoned Peter, leaving him weakened in this moment.

Spider-Man Flips and Spins Through the Air

The third clip from Brand New Day takes place in broad daylight and shows Peter Parker putting on his mask before leaping from a building. The jump is visually impressive, featuring spins and flips as he descends, with a large river flowing below.

Okay, let me tell you, this new Spider-Man flick really leans into the details – especially the suit. You can see it move with Peter, wrinkling and stretching realistically as he swings and fights. It’s a nice touch. And with Destin Daniel Cretton taking the director’s chair, we’re getting a fresh visual approach while still delivering the big action sequences and spectacle you’d expect from a Marvel movie. He’s definitely putting his own stamp on things after Jon Watts’ work on the previous films.

MCU Spider-Man Debuts Organic Webbing?

Honestly, the last bit of footage really blew my mind! Seeing Spider-Man swing between buildings, practically using his webs like a slingshot, was incredible. It’s another great look at how amazing his suit looks and just how agile he is, but what everyone is talking about is his web-shooters. They look different, and it’s got fans wondering if he’s somehow upgraded his abilities. It’s definitely sparked a lot of discussion!

Early reports suggested Spider-Man might gain the ability to shoot webs naturally in Brand New Day, similar to how Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man did in the films. While this hasn’t been officially confirmed, viewers have noticed he doesn’t seem to be wearing his usual web-shooters on his wrists in recent footage, leading to speculation about how this change will happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Scheduled for release in 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day kicks off the final stretch of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and returning favorites like Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo, along with newcomer Liza Cólon-Zayas, the movie follows Peter Parker as he navigates a world that has forgotten him. He’ll face some of his most dangerous enemies while trying to rebuild his life.

The new Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, is scheduled to come out in theaters on July 31, 2026. We can expect to see the first trailer on Wednesday, March 18.
