We’re introduced to Curtis, who communicates through telepathy because he can’t speak, Nell, Alya (who relies on telepathy to ‘see’ through others’ eyes since she’s blind), and Bailey, who is unique among the group as the only member born after the start of the Age of Revelation – she’s just eight years old.
