Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Beast Games season 2, episode 9.
Season 2 of Beast Games has been more controversial and unpredictable than its first season, as the competition gets intense heading into the finale. The world’s most popular YouTuber has teamed up with Prime Video again to bring back his incredibly energetic and over-the-top game show for another season.
The first season of the show awarded a $10 million prize, plus cars, an island, and other substantial amounts of money to various players. Now, season two is just as exciting, and the competition remains fierce as it heads toward the final episode. However, the second-to-last episode dramatically shifted the dynamics, forcing the remaining ten players to compete and negotiate for a spot in the finale.
During episode 8, the remaining ten contestants were given a million dollars to share. Ultimately, two players received half of that amount. But in episode 9, the money was dramatically reshuffled as players risked what they’d already won.
Only 1 Beast Games Competitor Can Win The $5 Million
The show’s grand prize is a remarkable $5 million, and it could have been even bigger – $10 million – if Monika had held onto the special coin. Even so, $5 million is a fantastic sum, and the contestants are clearly becoming more and more nervous as they get closer to potentially winning it all.
MrBeast is the most popular creator on YouTube, currently boasting over 400 million subscribers. He’s famous for his incredibly generous giveaways, often awarding huge sums of money and even suitcases full of cash. His show, Beast Games, continues this tradition, with millions more dollars given away as prizes in its second season.
With only ten players left in Beast Games season 2, it’s a good time to reflect on their incredible journeys so far and how they’ve reached this point.

Although a few contestants have won significant amounts of money – some even winning as much as $1.8 million worth of property – players who win early often don’t last long. However, the final ten contestants were offered a chance to split a million dollars, giving each of them the potential to win $100,000.
During the game, the prize money wasn’t divided equally, leaving some players with significantly less than others. Cory, for example, received less than $50,000 – over half of what he was entitled to – and Monika chose not to take any of the million-dollar prize at all.
Although Monika’s friends on Beast Games praised her apparent selflessness, she actually profited from the experience, selling her winning $10 million coin flip opportunity for $500,000.
Things got really complicated in the latest episode! Players could now trade and even ask for votes, risking their portion of the million-dollar prize. This led to some players winning big, while others lost everything.
| How Much Money The Final 10 Beast Games Season 2 Contestants Won | ||
|---|---|---|
| Name | Number | Money Won |
| Kady | 38 | $160,057 |
| Jack | 58 | $40,000 |
| Hannah | 99 | $0 |
| Nick | 118 | $342,264 |
| Monika | 152 | $510,000 |
| Tyler | 167 | $100,000 |
| Auguste | 172 | $0 |
| Jim | 173 | $137,547 |
| Cory | 191 | $17,133 |
| Brett | 195 | $193,000 |
Currently, Monika has won the most money in Beast Games season 2, earning $500,000 from a deal she made in episode 8. Nick has also done well, adding to his previous winnings to reach a total of $342,000.
Brett, Kady, and Jim each won over $100,000 in the final game. Jack and Cory, and Auguste and Hannah, all traded some of their winnings to guarantee they’d make it to the final six players. Tyler was the first to secure a spot in the top six without giving up any of the $100,000 he won in a previous episode.
The Odds Of Players With Big Prize Money Winning Are Low, But Not 0

The season 2 finale of Beast Games ended with a major question mark: who would be the sixth and final competitor? The show strongly suggested it would be either Brett or Monika, and surprisingly, either one would become the player with the most winnings to advance.
The details of the final challenge haven’t been announced yet, but last season, the final six contestants competed against each other, eliminating four and leaving only two to compete for the grand prize. This suggests that players may again focus on eliminating those who have already won a lot of money.
With two players having no money and the next two combining for less than $60,000, Tyler’s $100,000 puts him in a strong position. Brett’s $193,000 is significantly higher than anyone else’s winnings so far. If Monika can convincingly pretend she only has $10,000, and not $510,000, she might have a chance at winning, but Auguste likely heard Jim reveal her true amount and won’t allow it.
The sixth and last contestant to qualify for the Beast Games season 2 finale faces long odds of winning. However, anything can happen in the final competition.
