However, Simu Liu, who played Shang-Chi, has publicly stated that a sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is in the works. He recently also told People magazine that he will be appearing in Secret Wars, which strongly suggests his character will survive the events of Doomsday.
