Glen Powell stars in A24’s new black comedy thriller, “How to Make a Killing,” the second film from director John Patton Ford, who previously impressed with “Emily the Criminal.” The movie is a modern take on the classic 1949 British film “Kind Hearts and Coronets,” originally featuring Valerie Hobson, Dennis Price, and Alec Guinness. A24 just released the first trailer, and it looks incredibly promising.
Joining the cast alongside Powell is Margaret Qualley. The series also features Bill Camp, Jessica Henwick, Topher Grace, Zach Woods, and Ed Harris. Powell stars as Becket Redfellow, a determined and overlooked family member who starts eliminating relatives to claim his inheritance of a $28 billion fortune. Jessica Henwick plays Becket’s girlfriend, Ruth, and Margaret Qualley plays Julia, a friend from his past. Based on the trailer, the show looks like a lot of fun.
The movie “How to Make A Killing” comes out in February. Watch the trailer below and tell me if you plan to see it!
