A fourth Jumanji movie is officially happening! The first images from the sequel show the main cast returning for one last adventure. This film is expected to be the end of the series, which started with a reboot in 2017. This time, the game world will blend with reality, promising the biggest Jumanji experience yet.
The first images from the upcoming Jumanji 4 confirm that Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black will all be returning as their beloved characters: Dr. Xander Bravestone, Franklin Finbar, Ruby Roundhouse, and Professor Shelly Oberon. This time, the adventure moves from the jungle to a city, suggesting the game’s characters are now causing trouble in the real world. The movie is scheduled to be released in December 2026, perfect for the holiday season. A first-look image is available below.
Like the other movies in the series, the actors will again be paired with realistic versions of their characters. So far, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, Bebe Neuwirth, Danny DeVito, Lamorne Morris, Marin Hinkle, Nick Jonas, and Rhys Darby are confirmed to return. Jake Kasdan is directing the final movie, working from a script he wrote with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg.
