The SaGa Frontier series has remained popular over time because it consistently reinvents itself. While the series includes two main games, SaGa Frontier 2 really stood out when it was released and is often considered one of the best action RPGs for the original PlayStation.

The comic book series Y: The Last Man appeared in the early 2000s and helped launch a wave of similar stories in novels, films, and TV. It arguably set the stage for a more realistic and intense style of storytelling. The story presents a shocking mystery: a deadly event wipes out every mammal with a Y chromosome. This leaves women to rebuild society while facing the very real possibility of humanity’s end. The only survivors are Yorick Brown, a somewhat clumsy young man, and his monkey, Ampersand. Although the premise of Y: The Last Man is compelling, attempts to adapt it into a live-action show have consistently failed.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I was really intrigued by that Mandalorian & Grogu Super Bowl ad, and Variety just dropped a fascinating article about it. Apparently, Jon Favreau, who’s directing the Mando Movie, also directed the ad! What’s even cooler is they intentionally made it feel like those classic, nostalgic Super Bowl commercials from years past. It’s a neat connection and explains why it felt so familiar – and got everyone talking!

David Thewlis recently spoke with ScreenTime about the possibility of reprising his role as Remus Lupin. The actor famously played the beloved character in multiple Harry Potter movies.

In a new TV spot, Diesel asks, “You ready?” giving fans a first look at the exciting new roller coaster. The preview shows riders speeding along the track with thrilling drops, sharp turns, and spinning motions. It’s all building up to the coaster’s summer debut at the theme park, and Diesel’s final message is simple: “Buckle up for the next chapter of Fast & Furious at Universal Studios Hollywood!”

It often seems like Hollywood is stuck repeating itself with reboots and remakes, but this isn’t new. Great remakes have always been a part of film history.

Andy Samberg recently shared some discouraging news about another Hotel Transylvania movie. He says there are currently no firm plans to make a fifth film, following comments from Keegan-Michael Key that got people wondering if the series would continue.

The film is certainly fun and has a playful energy, but these strengths are overshadowed by its confusing plot and a script that feels aimless. Sam Rockwell is great as the potentially unhinged time traveler, and Haley Lu Richardson provides good support, but much of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die comes across as showy and self-satisfied, both in its predictable jokes and its attempts at social commentary.
