As a big cinema and music fan, I’ve been following the case of Sean “Diddy” Combs closely. After his sentencing, his lawyers have been working to figure out where he’ll serve his time. He got 50 months, but they’re taking into account the time he’s already spent in jail in Brooklyn. Right now, his team is hoping he’ll be sent to FCI Fort Dix, but I just read that a former inmate who’s been there is actually advising him *against* that, which is pretty interesting.
Fort Dix, a minimum-security prison in New Jersey, is where Diddy’s legal team would like him to serve his sentence, hoping he can participate in their Residential Drug Abuse Program. However, Joe Giudice, known from *The Real Housewives of New Jersey*, believes this would be a mistake. Giudice, who previously served time at Fort Dix, told Fox News Digital about his experiences, claiming he witnessed gang activity, violence, and even a stabbing incident among inmates.
Two people suddenly attacked each other while walking, and it happened so quickly it was hard to understand what was going on or why it happened.
Joe Giudice, 53, was imprisoned at Fort Dix from 2016 to 2019 after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud and related crimes. In an interview with Fox News, Giudice discussed receiving visits from his family during his time in prison. His lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., also spoke to Fox News, praising the RDAP program – a popular and beneficial opportunity for eligible inmates.
Participants live together in a specific section of the prison, separate from the general population. This housing area is exclusively for people in the program, and everyone chosen has been thoroughly vetted to ensure they meet both the legal requirements and clinical criteria.

O.J. Simpson’s lawyer reacted strongly to the recent sentencing of Diddy, calling it an incredibly foolish decision.
Diddy received a jail sentence after being found guilty of transporting someone for the purpose of prostitution. However, he was cleared of more serious charges like racketeering and sex trafficking. His legal team says his time in jail has been very difficult, though he’s been trying to stay productive. He’s had limited contact with his seven children, but recently spoke with his youngest daughter, Love, and told her he would be gone for a short period.
Sean Combs is likely facing prison time, but there’s still a possibility that former President Trump could pardon him. The two have a history of being friendly, and Trump has been inconsistent about whether he would grant clemency. Interestingly, people have reportedly been placing bets on whether a pardon will actually happen.
If things don’t change, Diddy will likely stay in prison, and it’s still unclear where he’ll be sent. Joe Giudice and his lawyer have pointed out both good and bad aspects of the Fort Dix facility. It remains to be seen if Diddy’s legal team will change their strategy based on this information or further investigation.
