Attendees at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights received a frightful surprise this week when WWE star Alexa Bliss appeared – not during a wrestling match, but inside the popular haunted house, “WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks.”

Five-time Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently surprised fans at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. She appeared as a scareactor, playing into the unsettling storyline she shared with the Wyatt Family in WWE. Universal Studios released video of Bliss hiding in the fog and frightening guests, fully embodying the creepy character she portrayed on television.
The House That Fear Built
At Universal Studios Hollywood, “WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks” lets guests step into the creepy and mysterious world of one of WWE’s most frightening groups. The experience combines the stories and characters of professional wrestling with scary, theatrical elements, letting fans explore scenes inspired by the disturbing visuals that made Bray Wyatt and his character, The Fiend, so famous.
Universal Studios collaborated with WWE to create a haunted house inspired by the unsettling world of the Wyatt Family. Building on previous storylines like the “Firefly Fun House” and “House of Horrors,” the experience plays with your sense of reality, featuring twisted sets, creepy puppets, and iconic phrases like “Let me in.” It’s designed to feel like stepping inside the minds of the Wyatt Family and their disturbing cult-like atmosphere.
Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt: A Twisted Partnership
Alexa Bliss’s story with Bray Wyatt is famous in the world of professional wrestling. It started in the summer of 2020 when Wyatt, as his ‘Fiend’ character, began focusing on Bliss after her relationship with Braun Strowman. They had a strong connection, and Bliss soon started acting with similar mysterious and supernatural qualities as Wyatt.

From late 2020 through 2021, Bliss frequently appeared with The Fiend in both pre-recorded videos and during wrestling matches. This continued until she unexpectedly betrayed Wyatt, a moment that surprised and shocked wrestling fans around the globe.
WWE portrayed Alexa Bliss’s character at this time as disturbingly unpredictable and mentally unstable, taking cues from classic horror but also adding a surprising amount of emotional complexity for a wrestling persona. Her collaborations with Buddy Murphy pushed the limits of what was possible in WWE, blending compelling storytelling with visually stunning performances, and establishing both as groundbreaking creative forces in modern wrestling.
After the sad death of Windham Rotunda (Wyatt) in August 2023, Bliss shared a touching message, saying she was shocked and grateful for the chance to have worked closely with him, describing him as a unique individual. Many people believe her recent appearance at Halloween Horror Nights was a way to honor his memory as both a colleague and a friend.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025: Universal’s Crown Jewel of Fright
I’m so excited for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando in 2025! It’s running on select nights through November 2nd, and they’re promising a ton of new scares. There are ten brand-new haunted houses, plus four scare zones and even more spooky things happening right on the streets. I’ve heard they’re building a new club called Club Horror with an undead DJ, and ghouls will be jumping out when you least expect it! The sets are supposed to be amazing, totally inspired by classic horror movies and pop culture – I can’t wait to see them!

Beyond the new Wyatt Sicks maze, guests can enjoy spooky food and drinks, check out a redesigned Halloween Horror Nights store, and ride Universal Studios Florida’s most popular attractions after the park closes to regular visitors.
As a huge fan, I was totally blown away by Alexa Bliss’s appearance! It was so cool seeing her from WWE pop up in the park, and it really felt like they were mixing the excitement of wrestling with a genuinely spooky horror experience. This year’s event is seriously taking theme park storytelling to a whole new level – it’s not just a ride, it’s a total immersion!
The Bigger Picture: WWE and Universal Deepen Their Partnership
“Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks” is the latest collaboration between WWE and NBCUniversal, the owner of USA Network and Universal Studios. As WWE adapts under its new parent company, TKO Group Holdings, this type of event shows how WWE can use its characters and stories to create live experiences for a wider audience, going beyond traditional wrestling.

Whether she’s in the wrestling ring or starring in Halloween Horror Nights, Alexa Bliss excels at creating a truly live and engaging experience, proving that both performance and fear are most impactful when delivered in person.
