In the upcoming Halloween special, Stewie and Brian are in serious trouble – they’re headed to Hell! Fans will see them come face-to-face with the Devil, and a first look at the show’s animated version of Satan has just been released.
At the Family Guy panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Kieran Culkin, known for his role in Succession, will voice the Devil in the upcoming Halloween special. A preview image shows Culkin as the Devil with Brian and Stewie in an elevator that’s traveling down into Hell. Stewie and Brian look scared, but the Devil has a mischievous expression, hinting at trouble for the Griffin family.

This year’s Halloween episode of Family Guy is called “Happy Hell-o-ween.” It’s one of two holiday specials coming soon to Hulu. The story follows Stewie and Brian as they find themselves in Hell, facing the consequences for all their past mistakes over 24 seasons. But things take a turn when their antics even bother the Devil – and he puts them in charge!
The show also has a Christmas special called “The Peter Clause.” It’s about a competition in Quahog to see who will be the town’s Santa. When Peter loses, he has a choice: deal with his disappointment like an adult, or create a hilariously chaotic episode of Family Guy. Predictably, he goes with the latter.
Family Guy Has Been Going Strong Since 1999
Yes, Family Guy will keep airing on Fox after its holiday specials are released on Hulu. Season 25 is expected to premiere in early 2027. New episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the day after they first appear on television. Even though the show, created by Seth MacFarlane, is nearing its third decade, there’s still plenty of life left in it. MacFarlane has stated he believes Family Guy will continue “as long as we can make it.”
The show is still successful and popular as it celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024. It continues to attract a large audience, proving there’s still strong interest, so the team keeps working hard to maintain it. There are no plans to end the show in the foreseeable future. For one of the people involved, it feels like they’ve been working non-stop since the very beginning, with the past 25 years blending together as one continuous day.
