As the fifth season of The Boys wraps up, the story will continue with a new prequel series called Vought Rising. Aya Cash is set to reprise her role as the supervillain Stormfront in the new show, which initially worried some fans. However, Eric Kripke, the showrunner and executive producer, has reassured viewers that everything will be alright.

When Stormfront was introduced in The Boys, it was revealed she was secretly a white supremacist with connections to Nazi Germany. With her expected expanded role in the upcoming series Vought Rising, some viewers worried the show might try to make her a more sympathetic character by exploring her past. However, creator Eric Kripke has confirmed that Stormfront will remain a villain and won’t be portrayed as likable, though the series will delve deeper into her romantic relationship with Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles.

Viewers Will Not Be Expected to Sympathize With Stormfront

Kripke firmly stated he would never want viewers to feel sorry for the character Stormfront, calling her a ‘Nazi’ and expressing strong disapproval. Regarding Soldier Boy, he hinted that the show will reveal deeper feelings he had for Clara, which will be explored further. Additionally, viewers will learn more about the complicated history and mutual animosity between Soldier Boy and Bombsight in the upcoming episodes of Vought Rising.

The series stars Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Chloe Cash as Stormfront, alongside Elizabeth Posey (known from Euphoria) as Private Angel, Will Hochman (Blue Bloods) as Torpedo, and Mason Dye (Teen Wolf) as Bombsight. Following the success of Gen V, Vought Rising is the newest live-action series expanding the world of The Boys.
