Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal reunite in another epic love story.
Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, who both starred in Hamlet, are reuniting for a new romantic drama. This comes after Buckley’s recent Oscar win for her work in Hold On To Your Angels. Benh Zeitlin, the director and writer behind the acclaimed film Beasts of the Southern Wild, is at the helm of this new project.
Set in South Louisiana, Hold On To Your Angels tells the story of an outlaw, played by Mescal, and a strong, compassionate woman, portrayed by Buckley, who cares for those in need. They fall in love, but their relationship is destined for heartbreak.
