The TV series Good Omens is based on the 1990 novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It follows the unlikely friendship between an angel, Aziraphale (played by Michael Sheen), and a demon, Crowley (played by David Tennant), who have worked together on numerous occasions to prevent the end of the world.

Following some difficulties, including accusations against Neil Gaiman and changes in Amazon’s plans, season 3 of Good Omens will be a single 90-minute episode, scheduled to be released on May 13, 2026.

The Legend of Vox Machina

Season 4 On June 3, 2026. Season 5 Confirmed

The Legend of Vox Machina is an animated show for adults inspired by the first story arc of the popular web series, Critical Role. The show centers around Vox Machina, a band of unlikely heroes who work as mercenaries and protect their world from dangerous threats. Since it first aired, The Legend of Vox Machina has received positive reviews, and a fourth season is scheduled to premiere on June 3, 2026.

Despite not having a release date yet, The Legend of Vox Machina has been renewed for a fifth and final season. The story continues with the spinoff series, The Mighty Nein, which began airing in 2025.

Interview with the Vampire

Season 3 On June 7, 2026

Based on Anne Rice’s novels, Interview with the Vampire follows Louis de Pointe du Lac, who becomes a vampire after an encounter with the charming Lestat de Lioncourt. The story explores Louis’s struggle to maintain his human side as he and Lestat form a complicated bond.

The third season of Interview with the Vampire will actually be titled Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat, and it’s based on the book of the same name. It’s currently scheduled to come out on June 7, 2026, and as of now, the show hasn’t been picked up for another season beyond this one.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Season 2 On June 25, 2026. Season 3 Confirmed

Netflix now features a live-action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender, a beloved animated series. The show faced considerable anticipation, and while reviews are mixed, many have praised its impressive world, stunning visuals, and exciting action sequences. It’s a significant step up from the widely criticized 2010 film adaptation.

As a big fan, I’m thrilled to hear Avatar: The Last Airbender is getting both a second and third season! I’m really hoping the showrunners take what they learned from the first season and make the next two even better. We can expect season 2 to drop on June 25, 2026, and while we don’t have a date yet, they’re already working on season 3!

House of the Dragon

Season 3 In June 2026. Season 4 Confirmed

House of the Dragon is a spin-off series from Game of Thrones, drawing its story from parts of the 2018 book Fire & Blood. The show is a prequel, taking place roughly a century after the Targaryens united the Seven Kingdoms and two hundred years before the original Game of Thrones series. Given its success, it’s no surprise that House of the Dragon has been renewed for additional seasons.

As a huge fan, I’m marking my calendar – Season 3 of House of the Dragon is coming in June 2026! They’re planning a fourth season too, expected around 2028, but that will be the end of the story for those characters. The good news is, we’re not losing the world of Game of Thrones entirely. They’re already working on another prequel spinoff, and even a movie! I’ll share more details on those as soon as I hear them.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Season 3 Coming In 2026

The popular Lord of the Rings series now includes the streaming prequel The Rings of Power. This new show takes place thousands of years before the original story and focuses on the important events of Middle-earth’s Second Age, including how the powerful rings were created and the beginnings of Sauron’s power.

Despite some criticism, the first season of The Rings of Power was mostly liked by audiences, and the second season received a similar response. The show has been renewed for a third season, which finished filming in December 2025 and is currently scheduled to be released in 2026.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood

Season 2 Coming In 2026

Though the original Outlander series has finished, the story continues with the new prequel, Blood of My Blood. This show explores the lives of Jamie and Claire’s parents, with one storyline set in 18th-century Scotland and another in England during World War I—and time travel remains a key element.

The show Outlander: Blood of My Blood has been picked up for a second season, even before the first season has aired. While we don’t know exactly when it will be released, it’s currently scheduled to arrive in late 2026.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Season 2 Coming In 2027

“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” is a new prequel series to “Game of Thrones,” adapted from the “Tales of Dunk and Egg” stories. While still set in the same often harsh and heartbreaking world, this series has a more hopeful and less intense feel than “Game of Thrones” or “House of the Dragon.”

The first season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was well-received by critics, and a second season has already been confirmed. Season 2, expected in 2027, will be based on the story The Sworn Sword.

One Piece

Season 3 Coming In 2027

Netflix’s One Piece is a live-action series based on the popular 1997 Japanese manga. It’s become one of Netflix’s most successful shows recently. The story follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they search for the ultimate treasure left behind by the legendary pirate, Gold Roger.

The live-action series One Piece has received excellent reviews and is considered one of the best adaptations of the original manga. Fans can expect the third season, called The Battle of Alabasta, to be released in 2027.

The Witcher

Season 5 Confirmed

I’m really excited for the return of The Witcher on Netflix! It’s based on the amazing novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, and it follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter, along with the powerful sorceress Yennefer and Princess Ciri. The story is packed with battles against all sorts of creatures, but there’s also this huge political game going on because a prophecy means everyone’s after Ciri.

Despite some challenges after its first season, The Witcher will get a fifth and final season to wrap up its storylines. While there’s no confirmed release date, it might arrive around late 2026, giving the show a chance to address past issues and deliver a satisfying conclusion.
