Shredder won’t be the only villain in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2.
The 2023 animated reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a hit with both critics and audiences. The movie sees the Turtles triumph over Superfly and his crew, and a scene after the credits hints that Shredder will be the main villain in the next film. But the Turtles won’t just have to worry about Shredder – they’ll face other threats as well.
At CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas, where representatives from ScreenRant were present, Paramount announced that Krang will join Shredder as a villain in the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie. Producers Seth Rogen, James Weaver, and Evan Goldberg shared the news with attendees via a video message, confirming the two villains will be working together in the sequel.
