The classic cartoon and toy series featured several teams of robots that could combine to form a single, larger robot. While the most famous teams appeared in the show’s early seasons, a member of a lesser-known group of heroic robots is now becoming available for fans to collect.
Magic Square Toys has released a new collectible figure called MS-B63 ENIAC-No.1, based on the Generation 1 character Lightspeed. This Autobot, part of the Technobot group, features updated designs for both its robot and vehicle forms, utilizing modern engineering. It also hints at the combined form of the Technobot team, continuing Magic Square’s effort to reimagine this futuristic group for today’s collectors.
One of the Most Hi-Tech Autobots Is Reborn in a New Toy for Lightspeed

MS-B63 ENIAC-No.1 is a version of the G1 Technobot Lightspeed, designed to be the same size as figures from the Japanese Transformers Legends line. This figure is highly posable, with joints in its legs, arms, and even torso. This allows it to closely resemble both the original toy and the character’s appearance in the animated series, where Lightspeed and the Technobots were briefly created during a moment of extraordinary intelligence.
This character comes with two blasters that he can use in robot form, and they can also attach to the sides when he transforms into a vehicle. Like many Autobots that debuted around that time, this character isn’t designed to look like a real-world vehicle; instead, he transforms into a futuristic, Cybertronian form. This makes his sleek, high-tech sportscar mode a perfect fit for his name and the advanced technology of his group.
Magic Square Toys recently shared a preview of their new toy’s key feature on their official Weibo account. It shows Lightspeed transforming into a leg for Computron, the combined Technobot Combiner. Currently, Lightspeed is the only prototype shown in full color – the rest of the team is still being developed in gray. The price and release date haven’t been announced yet.
The Technobots and their rivals, the Terrorcons, were among the final groups of Transformers created, and as a result, aren’t as well-known as some others. However, they still have a dedicated fanbase, and the recent release of new collectibles by Magic Square Toys demonstrates that popularity.
