The new trailer for The Drama hints at a bigger story to come. Robert Pattinson and Zendaya aren’t just starring in one movie together in 2026 – they’re scheduled to appear in three! Their first collaboration will be one of the new releases from A24 this year.
A new trailer for the A24 film The Drama, directed by Kristoffer Borgli, has been released. It’s expected to premiere in April and offers a closer look at the wedding between the characters played by Zendaya and Pattinson. You can watch it below.
The trailer for The Drama gives us a closer look at the wedding plans for Emma Harwood (Zendaya) and Charlie Thompson (Pattinson). But the celebration takes a shocking turn when Emma, Charlie, and their friends start sharing their darkest secrets – and Zendaya’s character reveals the most shocking one of all.
Directed by Borgli and produced by Ari Aster, The Drama features Mamoudou Athie, Hailey Gates, Alana Haim, and Zoë Winters. Borgli also penned the script for the movie, which was filmed in October 2024.
Following the release of their recent film, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya are already set to appear together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie, The Odyssey, which is scheduled for release on July 17th. Later in the year, on December 18th, Pattinson will join Zendaya in Dune: Part Three as she returns for another installment of the Dune franchise.
The Drama opens in theaters on April 3.
