
Fans of the musical Wicked will soon be able to enjoy the second part of the movie adaptation, Wicked: For Good, from the comfort of their homes! While the film was first available digitally in December, it’s coming to Netflix this summer after initially streaming on Peacock. Get ready to revisit the story of Elphaba and Glinda!
During the Super Bowl on February 9, 2026, it was announced that the movie Wicked: For Good will first stream on Peacock starting March 20, 2026. It will include a sing-along version and extra features. Four months later, on July 20, 2026, the film will be available on Netflix in the U.S., as part of an agreement between Universal Pictures and Netflix. What’s on Netflix reports that Wicked will stay on Netflix for ten months, until May 2027, before moving back to Peacock.
Following its November 21, 2025, release in theaters, the movie adaptation of Wicked: For Good is now available for streaming. It earned $226 million worldwide during its opening weekend, exceeding the performance of the previous film. While it’s currently unclear if Wicked will eventually be on Netflix, Amazon Prime members can stream it now at no additional cost. The movie is also available for purchase on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD.
