The upcoming second film in the Wicked movie adaptation, For Good, will be released in theaters soon, and with it comes new Wickedthemed merchandise like popcorn buckets. This sequel, set to arrive in 2025, will connect the story to the classic The Wizard of Oz* and conclude the journeys of Elphaba (played by Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (played by Ariana Grande), as well as other key characters including Boq, Fiyero, Nessarose, Madame Morrible, and Jeff Goldblum’s Wizard.

Last year, many major movie theaters celebrated the world of Oz by selling special “Wicked”-themed popcorn buckets and collectibles. Fans could choose from items like Witch Hat Cups and Lantern Popcorn Containers to enjoy with their snacks and drinks during the first showing.

As a huge movie fan, I’ve noticed that Wicked: For Good is really going all out with the merchandise! They’ve got an incredible range of popcorn buckets and other collectibles – even more than usual, it seems.

AMC Is Stealing the Show in Wicked: For Good Popcorn Buckets

AMC is now selling merchandise for the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good, and they’re starting with three collectible, themed popcorn buckets that are sure to please fans.

The standout item is a limited edition Emerald City popcorn bucket, beautifully designed in green to look like the capital city of Oz. It features imagery from Wicked and, of course, has plenty of space for your popcorn!

The iconic Emerald City hides a special bucket designed to hold all the popcorn kernels offered in Oz. It’s expected to cost between $45 and $50, based on pricing at Cinemark, but AMC hasn’t announced its price yet.

Fans who get the special bubble popcorn bucket will “Glow Like Glinda” thanks to a light-up version of Glinda the Good Witch’s bubble from the movie.

The Grimmerie, a magical book central to the story of Wicked, is also available as a collectible popcorn tin. The tin encourages fans to “Cast Out Hunger” – meaning, enjoy some popcorn! While it’s mostly filled with kernels, the inside of the tin is designed to look like the book’s pages, with writing visible inside.

Coca-Cola is creating special drinks inspired by the musical Wicked. One option, called Glinda’s Goodness, is a sweet strawberry, grape, and Sprite mix. The other, representing the Wicked Witch, is a bolder Fanta blend of lime and grape with a tangy and playful flavor.

AMC is inviting fans of Wicked to celebrate their favorite Elphabas and Glindas! Each actress who has played the role now has her own branded Grippr cup with a special topper, and a unique popcorn tin featuring her image.

I’m so excited! If you see For Good in 3D starting this Wednesday, November 19th, and they have enough, you’ll get cool green or pink glasses with the Wicked logo on them. I definitely want a pair!

Beyond the treats available at the concession stand, AMC is also hosting a “Magical Mementos Sweeps” contest until November 23rd. Winners will receive replicas of iconic props from Wicked: For Good, including Elphaba’s hat, Glinda’s crown, and a pair of earrings, as a lasting reminder of their time with the show.

Cinemark Has a Wicked: For Good Range to Offer

Cinemark, a major movie theater chain, announced on Instagram that it’s now selling seven different items of merchandise inspired by the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good. The items are available at concession stands just in time for the film’s release on Friday, November 21.

Good news for Cinemark moviegoers: you can now enjoy the same special Emerald City experience – including a large popcorn – that’s available at AMC, for $47.95.

You can also purchase two special collectible sets for $34.95 each, celebrating Glinda and Elphaba. Each set features figures of the characters overlooking the Emerald City, designed with their signature colors.

Even if Ariana Grande or Cynthia Erivo aren’t your favorite Wicked star, you can still enjoy a piece of the magic with this 13-ounce popcorn tin! It features a design inspired by the Yellow Brick Road and iconic characters like Elphaba, Glinda, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion – all of Dorothy’s companions on her adventure.

Enjoying snacks at the movies can leave you thirsty! Luckily, Cinemark offers tumblers and cups to keep you hydrated: a large Elphaba tumbler is $16.50, and a Glinda cup is $7.75.

If you’re planning to settle in for the 2-hour and 18-minute runtime of Wicked 2, you can now get a cozy $25 blanket featuring both of the film’s main characters. And for those wanting to show their fandom this holiday season, there are also $19.95 t-shirts available – perfect for wearing your Wicked love on your sleeve, or rather, your chest!

Regal’s Wicked 2 Musical Popcorn Bucket Is Gorgeous

Regal Cinemas is releasing a special collection of merchandise inspired by the musical Wicked, available at all 400+ of its U.S. locations. The highlight is a collectible music box featuring characters Elphaba and Glinda dancing together, designed to hold plenty of popcorn for enjoying the show – and even for the upcoming Wicked 2!

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo both captivated audiences in Wicked, but many fans lean towards one performer as their favorite. Now, Regal Cinemas is letting those fans celebrate with special collector’s combos for both Elphaba and Glinda, including a vibrant popcorn tin and a cup that lights up!

Glinda’s cheerful style contrasts sharply with the Wicked Witch of the West’s dark colors, opting instead for bright pinks, lively flowers, and colorful butterflies.

Regal Cinemas will offer more than just movie snacks! Fans can also find collectible Funko POPs and plush toys of their favorite characters from Wicked. Wicked: For Good Has 2 International-Exclusive Buckets

As a big fan of Wicked: For Good, I’m a little bummed to hear that some amazing merchandise won’t be coming to the U.S. Apparently, Vue cinemas in the U.K., as well as Village and Event Cinemas in Australia, are selling a really cool Hot Air Balloon popcorn bucket, and we’re missing out!

American collectors hoping to get the Emerald Balloon will need to buy it online or import it, as it won’t be released in U.S. cinemas anytime soon.
