I remember when the first Wicked movie seemed to play forever in cinemas, especially with all those sing-along events! While Wicked: For Good is already generating a lot of buzz and could have a similar long run, perhaps even around the holidays again, I’m predicting it’ll follow a pretty standard release pattern. Basically, if you’re hoping to watch it from home, expect Wicked: For Good to hit streaming services roughly three to four months after it leaves theaters.

The movie came out on November 21st, and is expected to be available for streaming sometime between February and March 2026. It’s not yet clear if it will receive the same extra features as the first film – things like a sing-along version, behind-the-scenes footage, and extended scenes. However, given how well Wicked: For Good is doing in cinemas, fans can probably expect plenty of bonus content when it finally comes to streaming.

Will ‘Wicked: For Good’ Stay on Peacock, or Will It Move Elsewhere?

Peacock Has a Limited Time To Stream ‘Wicked: For Good’

Films produced by Universal, like Wicked and any future installments, will initially stream only on Peacock. However, they won’t stay there permanently. For example, the 2024 release of Wicked was only available on Peacock from March 21st to July 20, 2025, before becoming available on Prime Video.

Because Peacock doesn’t have exclusive streaming rights forever, other services can compete to offer the movie. Just like Prime Video streamed the popular film Wicked, they’re expected to also stream Wicked: For Good after it finishes its initial run on Peacock. You can currently see Wicked: For Good in theaters, and it should become available to stream around February or March of 2026.
