It feels like forever, but it sounds like Tom Holland is finally getting back to the main Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline, and his next adventure as Peter Parker should be here this summer. I can’t wait!
While speaking with Big Gold Belt, director Destin Daniel Cretton addressed the anticipation for the trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled to release this summer. He jokingly acknowledged the fans’ eagerness, saying, “It’s funny how much people want a trailer! Of course, it’s coming, and it will be great when it does.”

Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo are joining the cast of the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie, marking the first time Bernthal’s Marvel-Netflix character appears in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film. The movie will also introduce the villain Tombstone, played by Marvin Jones III, who originally voiced the character in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The new Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, comes out July 31st, and Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 18th.
