What ‘Heated Rivalry’s Breakout Stars Are Doing Next

Crave’s hockey romance, Heated Rivalry, is quickly becoming a hit, already ranking at #94 on IMDb’s list of the Top 250 TV Shows ever. Because of the show’s popularity, everyone is eager to know what its stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, will do next as production begins on season two.

Heated Rivalry is a romantic story about Shane Hollander, played by Williams, and Ilya Rozanov, played by Storrie. They’re fierce rivals on opposing hockey teams who fall in love and try to hide their relationship from their teammates. Fans can look forward to at least two new acting roles for Williams and the first feature film directed by Storrie, both coming soon.

What’s Next for Hudson Williams?

Hudson Williams, a Canadian actor who began his career in 2020, experienced a particularly successful year in 2025. He’s best known for his role as Brandon Stokes in the CBS series Tracker, and also appeared in three short films: Chad GPT, The Dating Game, and Snow Angel. Williams not only starred in Snow Angel, but also directed it – a clear indication of his ambitions as a filmmaker, building on his previous directing work with the 2024 short film, Rancid.

Williams gained recognition for their starring role as Shane Hollander in the popular Crave Original series, Heated Rivalry, which continues to be a fan favorite. They have two upcoming acting projects, including the coming-of-age drama 8, a film written and directed by newcomer Inderveer Sodhi.

The 2005 film 8 follows a man facing a terminal illness as he travels with his pregnant wife to share the difficult news. Actor Williams will portray a character named Darius, though details about the role are currently limited.

Williams’ second acting role is in Encore, a new mystery thriller directed by Tristan C. Pina. The film, currently being finished and slated for release in 2026, centers around Victor (Aryan Varma), an acting student shaken when a classmate delivers a monologue confessing to a murder – a confession that may be genuine or a performance. Williams will play Mason, a mysterious traveler.

Connor Storrie is an American actor who has been building his career since 2018, with 13 acting roles to his name. He recently appeared as a prisoner in the film Joker: Folie à Deux, but he’s best known for playing the Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov in Heated Rivalry, a role that has brought him a lot of praise. Storrie started making videos on YouTube when he was young, which helped him gain confidence both in front of and behind the camera.

Besides returning for season two of Heated Rivalry, Storrie will also appear in the independent science fiction film April X, directed and written by Michel K. Parandi. The film, expected to debut in 2026 after screenings at various film festivals, tells the story of Baxter (Storrie) and his twin sister April (Lilly Krug) in a futuristic Russia. When April disappears, Baxter embarks on a difficult and mind-bending journey to find her in a harsh city.

Interestingly, Storrie filmed his first feature film, Transaction Planet, entirely on an iPhone. He shared details about the process with W magazine.

I recently finished directing a feature film called Transaction Planet, which I shot entirely on an iPhone. It was a collaborative project with some incredibly talented and supportive friends, and came after I finished working on Heated Rivalry.

Although plot and character details are limited, Transaction Planet is currently in post-production.

Currently, the publicly announced projects for Williams and Storrie are limited, but with the successful completion of Heated Rivalry‘s first season on December 26, 2025, both popular actors are almost certain to land even bigger roles soon.
