The cast of Stranger Things performed a rap summarizing the entire series, hitting the key moments from each season. A video of the performance was posted on X (formerly Twitter) with a message announcing it as a preview of the upcoming final season.
The series started with Will Byers’ disappearance in Hawkins, Indiana, and the introduction of Eleven, a girl with telekinetic abilities who befriends a group of boys. The second season brought new characters, Max and Billy, along with dangerous creatures called Demodogs. It ended with Eleven closing a portal to another dimension and sharing a kiss with Mike. Season three took place largely at the mall and involved a Russian conspiracy, culminating in some significant character deaths and a cliffhanger ending, referencing “A Never–Ending Story!”
Season 4 takes a darker turn with the arrival of Vecna, who launches a fresh series of attacks from the Upside Down. The show’s music reflects this chaos, with lyrics such as “Look where the time is. Vecna is here,” emphasizing the growing danger to Hawkins.
The latest teaser for Season 5 suggests the story is heading towards its conclusion. It includes rap lyrics referencing Vecna’s world – warning viewers not to get caught floating in the air – and hinting at a final showdown. The teaser playfully acknowledges the wait for the next season with a mention of “one more year” and promises a return for the series finale with the simple message: “Stranger Things. The show’s last season will have eight episodes, released in three batches: November 26th, December 25th, and December 31st, 2025. Familiar faces like Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard are back, joined by Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay. The story takes place in the fall of 1987, and follows the group as they try to defeat Vecna while also being pursued by the military who are after Eleven.
