A recently posted picture has sparked discussions about Marvel’s “Vision Quest,” leading to theories concerning its main characters. The forthcoming series builds on storylines introduced in WandaVision and Agatha All Along, focusing on Vision’s upcoming journey within the MCU. An intriguing image featuring actors Joe Locke and Ruaridh Mollica together has fans speculating if the twin Maximoffs might be making a comeback.
Marvel fans are sure this Vision Quest actor is playing Tommy Maximoff
Rumors started circulating when a photo of Ruaridh Mollica and Joe Locke (who stars as Agatha All Along’s Wiccan) was posted online. In the picture, they are both wearing similar beige polo shirts, with Locke adding the playful caption “#Twinning”. This image fueled speculations that Mollica might be taking on the role of Tommy Maximoff (also known as Speed) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, given that Locke’s character is Billy Maximoff (Wiccan).
In February 2025, it was reported by Marvel that Mollica joined the cast of Vision Quest with his character named Tucker. However, fans speculate that Tucker might actually be Tommy in disguise. On social media platform X (previously known as Twitter), one user suggested, “Tommy Maximoff perished in Westview, yet he’s portraying Tommy Shepherd,” while another commented, “Since the reborn versions of Wanda’s children are supposed to have similar appearances aside from their hair, I’m surprised they didn’t just cast Joe as both roles.
In simpler terms, some fans noticed a striking resemblance between Locke and Mollica, likening them to twins in the image. A user even commented, “It’s happening!!!! Also, standing next to each other, they look like twins to me!
Locke and Mollica are presently acting alongside each other in the West End production titled Clarkston. Although this stage performance has no connection to Marvel, their joint appearances spark rumors about a potential screen partnership reviving their characters Speed and Wiccan.
Currently, there’s no official confirmation from Marvel Studios about Mollica’s part in “Vision Quest”. This means his character remains a mystery at this point.
