Two James Bond Movies Dominate Netflix Streaming Charts Amid Franchise Overhaul

I’ve been really enjoying the James Bond movies on Netflix lately – two of them are at the top of the charts right now! It’s amazing to think the whole thing started with Ian Fleming’s books and follows this incredible British spy, 007. It’s cool seeing different actors take on the role over the years, starting way back in 1962, and Daniel Craig was the most recent one to play Bond.

According to FlixPatrol, which tracks streaming popularity, two of Daniel Craig’s James Bond films are currently climbing the Netflix Top 10 charts globally. Spectre (from 2015) is now at No. 7, and No Time to Die (his final Bond film, released in 2021) has reached No. 4 as of today.

The recent addition of Daniel Craig’s James Bond films has proven popular, going head-to-head with several hit Netflix shows. They’ve performed well against titles like the romantic comedy People We Meet on Vacation (currently at No. 3), the new crime thriller The Rip starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon (No. 1), and the incredibly popular animated series KPop Demon Hunters (No. 10). You can find the complete rankings below.

Rank Title
#1 The Rip (2026)
#2 Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart (2026)
#3 People We Meet on Vacation (2026)
#4 No Time to Die (2021)
#5 Max (2015)
#6 The Magnificent Seven (2016)
#7 Spectre (2015)
#8 Tere Ishk Mein (2025)
#9 The Big Fake (2026)
#10 KPop Demon Hunters (2025)

The latest James Bond films both started appearing on streaming charts around the world on January 22nd. “No Time to Die” reached the number one spot in several countries like Brazil, Chile, and Jamaica, and is still number one in Malta. However, it’s generally performing well, consistently ranking between fifth place (in countries like Argentina and Uruguay) and second place (including Switzerland, Martinique, Germany, and Brazil).

While Spectre briefly reached No. 2 in Mauritius on January 23rd, it now ranks between No. 9 in Belgium and No. 3 in The Bahamas. It’s appearing in charts in 39 countries, slightly more than No Time to Die‘s 37. Both films are also currently charting in the US, where No Time to Die is at No. 3 and Spectre is at No. 6.

The recent popularity of streaming shows that James Bond remains a globally popular franchise, even though a new movie hasn’t been released since 2021. It’s on track to have the longest gap between Bond films in over six years – surpassing the waits between Licence to Kill (1989) and GoldenEye (1995), and between Spectre and No Time to Die.

As a huge James Bond fan, I’m really interested to see what Amazon MGM Studios does with the franchise now that they’re in charge. They haven’t announced who will be the next Bond yet – they’re still figuring things out – but I’m hoping Bond 26 will do well. I think if they can keep what made the Daniel Craig films so popular – the action, the intensity, and that slightly grittier feel – the next movie has a great shot at being amazing.
