Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe Have Heartfelt Harry Potter Reunion

Tom Felton shared on Instagram that he recently had a lovely time reconnecting with his former co-star, Daniel Radcliffe. Despite playing rivals – Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter – in the films, the two have remained supportive friends for the past 15 years since the Harry Potter series ended.

Tom Felton Supported Daniel Radcliffe’s Return to Boradway

Felton posted several pictures with Radcliffe, primarily showing them hugging. He included a photo of himself at the Hudson Theater welcoming Radcliffe back to Broadway for the play Every Brilliant Thing, and a promotional image from the 2002 film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets featuring both of them in their Quidditch uniforms.

Felton shared a set of photos with the caption “Broomsticks to Broadway” and tagged both Daniel Radcliffe’s play, Every Brilliant Thing, and the official pages for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The post quickly became popular, receiving over half a million likes in just five hours.

Daniel Radcliffe is currently very busy promoting his new show, which has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, earning a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. While critics love it, the show hasn’t yet become a major success on streaming platforms.

Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe wrote Every Brilliant Thing, a new one-person play about a child who creates a list of all the good things in life to help their mother after she tries to take her own life. Although it’s performed by a single actor, the play is designed to be interactive and involves the audience if they choose to participate.

Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton Are Now Broadway Buddies

Daniel Radcliffe isn’t the only Harry Potter star on Broadway, but he does have more stage experience. Tom Felton recently made his Broadway debut in November with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a play that continues the story from the books and films. He’s playing an older version of his famous character, Draco Malfoy.

The pair first saw each other again on December 1, 2025, at a showing of Merrily We Roll Along, where they shared a hug and took photos together. They then reunited once more in early March.

Daniel Radcliffe recently shared that he sought advice from Hugh Jackman before making his Broadway debut. In an interview on Good Morning America, Radcliffe explained that he was inspired by Jackman early in his career, having seen one of his first Broadway shows over a decade ago. He noted Jackman’s Tony Award win and overall success as a major reason why Broadway holds such a special place for him.

Radcliffe explained to Us Weekly that he warned Stewart about something uncommon in the UK: enthusiastic applause as soon as an actor enters the stage. He told her, ‘They’re going to lose it when you first walk out there!’

Tom Felton will continue performing as Draco Malfoy until May 10th, and Daniel Radcliffe‘s solo show will finish on May 24th. While both actors appeared in the 2022 Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts reunion special, they didn’t share any scenes. The last time they acted together on screen was in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two, released in July 2011.

The first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (known as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone outside of the U.S.), will be released on May 7th.
