Titus Welliver is best known for playing Harry Bosch, and many fans will always see him in that role. However, I’m excited to see him guest star in a fantastic, but often overlooked, crime drama. For the past ten years, his performance as Michael Connelly’s determined detective in Bosch and Bosch: Legacy has become a standout in the genre, and his commitment to the character really brought the show’s world to life.
The popular Prime Video series Bosch is known for its consistently strong drama, and Titus Welliver’s performance has been key to its success. While viewers strongly identify him with the show, currently only the Ballard series, starring Maggie Q, continues the Bosch universe on Prime Video, meaning Welliver is now free to take on new roles.
Lance Reddick, known for his steady work as an actor, gained significant recognition for his role as Bosch, which has now opened doors to new opportunities. Fans are eager to see what he does next, particularly as he embarks on the next phase of his decades-long career filled with unforgettable performances. His upcoming project on AMC promises to be a compelling addition to his already impressive body of work.
Titus Welliver Is Appearing In Dark Winds Season 4
I was really excited to hear that Titus Welliver, who I loved as Bosch, is joining the cast of Dark Winds! It seems like a totally different role for him, though. He’s playing Dominic McNair, and from what I’ve read, he’s a pretty ruthless guy – a crime boss dealing in drugs and stolen high-end items. Definitely a departure from Harry Bosch, but I’m eager to see what he does with it!
Graham Welliver’s part in Dark Winds represents a shift in his career. He’s known for playing police officers, but this new role lets him explore the criminal side of things, which is a welcome challenge for the actor and a chance to delve into more complex characters.
Dark Winds Continues To Be One Of The Best Crime Dramas On TV
As a huge fan of crime dramas, I’ve been really impressed with Dark Winds. It’s quickly become one of the best on TV, and for good reason. What sets it apart is how thoughtfully it tells its stories, with a real depth and respect for the culture it portrays. It’s based on Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee books, and unlike a lot of other detective shows, it doesn’t just focus on the mystery. It beautifully blends those intriguing cases with a truly authentic look at Navajo life in the Southwest.

The first three seasons of Dark Winds have been praised for skillfully blending a tense, immersive atmosphere with well-developed characters. The show avoids typical crime drama tropes, opting for realistic stories. By focusing on Navajo tribal police instead of detectives in large cities, Dark Winds offers a unique and respectful portrayal, brought to life by its largely Native American cast.
