The location for the next season of The White Lotus has been announced. According to reports, Season 4 will be filmed at the Château de La Messardière, a luxurious hotel in Saint-Tropez, France, built from a renovated 19th-century castle.
The Château de La Messardière, a luxurious hotel within the Airelles Collection, sits on 32 acres of beautiful grounds filled with parasol pines, cypress trees, and jasmine. It’s owned by Stephane Courbit, who also founded Banijay Entertainment – the company responsible for popular reality TV shows like Big Brother, Survivor, Deal or No Deal, Temptation Island, and MasterChef.
Rooms at the Château de La Messardière usually cost between $3,000 and $8,000 a night, and can sometimes be even more expensive. Guests can enjoy amenities like a spa, on-site restaurants, various sports activities, a kids’ club, and convenient beach access with a Rolls-Royce shuttle.
HBO hasn’t confirmed the details reported by Variety, but sources say Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus, is still working on the script for the new season, and the plot is being kept secret. Filming for Season 4 is anticipated to start in April and wrap up in October. The season will be filmed in multiple locations, including a hotel in Paris, to create the setting for the White Lotus resort.
