Today, Netflix is expanding its collection of The Walking Dead shows by adding the second season of a popular spin-off from the original AMC series.
What The Walking Dead spin-off show is on Netflix now?
Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Dead City is now streaming on Netflix, alongside Season 1. This new season, which premiered earlier in 2024, continues the story of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they navigate a dangerous, post-apocalyptic New York City.
Eli Jorné created, wrote, and executive produced ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City,’ also acting as showrunner. The first season centers on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) venturing into Manhattan in search of Maggie’s son.
Lauren Cohan (Maggie) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), both familiar faces from the original series, star in and executive produce this new spin-off, alongside Scott M. Gimple. The cast also features Gaius Charles, Mahina Napoleon, Željko Ivanek, Jonathan Higginbotham, Trey Santiago-Hudson, Logan Kim, and Charlie Solis.
I’m so excited about Season 1! It’s incredible seeing Maggie and Negan team up and venture into old Manhattan, which has been totally isolated for ages. The city is in ruins, overrun with walkers, but it’s also been taken over by people who’ve built their own crazy, dangerous, and surprisingly beautiful world within the wreckage. It’s a really wild place they’ve discovered!
