The Last of Us Season 3 Adds Big DCU & DCEU Stars, Roles Revealed

The cast of The Last of Us Season 3 is expanding! A former star from the DC Extended Universe has joined, along with several new actors, and some existing cast members are taking on larger roles.

What DCEU star has joined The Last of Us Season 3’s cast?

Patrick Wilson, known for playing Ocean Master in Aquaman, is joining the third season of the show, according to Deadline. He’ll be joined by Jason Ritter, who previously made a brief appearance as a Clicker in Season 1. This time, Ritter will play a fully developed, original character.

In casting news, Wilson has been cast as Jerry, the father of Abby (played by Kaitlyn Dever), and Ritter will play Hanley, a soldier from the WLF. Additionally, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord will now be series regulars.

The third season of the show will continue the story from the popular video game, The Last of Us Part II. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey return as Joel and Ellie, alongside Gabriel Luna as Tommy and Rutina Wesley as Maria. Joining the cast this season are Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Young Manzino as Jesse, Isabela Merced as Dina, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny. Catherine O’Hara will also make a special guest appearance.

Craig Mazin is leading Season 3 of The Last of Us as showrunner. He originally created the show with Neil Druckmann, who will not be as involved this season. Both Kaytlin Dever and Bella Ramsey will return to play Abby and Ellie, respectively.
