DBZ Fans Just Got the Holiday Manga Deal They Were Waiting For
The Dragon Ball Manga Box Set includes all 26 volumes of the original manga, created by Akira Toriyama. It also comes with a special double-sided poster and a collector’s booklet filled with interesting Dragon Ball trivia, guides, and an interview with the series’ creator.
The story begins with Son Goku, widely considered Earth’s greatest hero. Five years after his victory over the Demon King Piccolo, Goku has matured, started a family with his wife and son, Gohan. However, a mysterious visitor from space arrives with a shocking revelation: Goku is actually an alien! This visitor, Raditz, quickly proves to be a dangerous enemy, forcing Goku to battle his own incredibly powerful brother to protect his family and all of humanity. Earth’s only chance might lie in an unexpected team-up: even Goku’s fiercest rivals may have to join forces to save the world.
As you can probably tell from this description, this isn’t the complete Dragon Ball manga series. The entire series by Toriyama spans 42 volumes. This “Dragon Ball Z Manga Box Set” only includes the story arcs that were adapted into the Dragon Ball Z anime – specifically, the Saiyan, Frieza, and Cell sagas.
