Universal has announced that the Terrifier franchise is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2025.
The following announcement was written and released by Universal:
Stepping into the Funhouse means entering the twisted realm of Art the Clown, as this year’s innovative haunted house brings to life the chilling world from the Terrifier slasher film series, which has been sending shivers down the spines of moviegoers since 2008. The haunting begins at Universal Orlando Resort on August 29th and at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 4th.

Under the guidance of creator, scriptwriter, and director Damien Leone, producer Phil Falcone, and Dark Age Cinema Productions, the movie Terrifier unleashed a fresh slasher film series into the cinematic universe. This series centers around Art the Clown, a malevolent supernatural character who haunts the fictional town of Miles County, New York, particularly on Halloween. Art the Clown torments his victims in uniquely grotesque and eerily sinister manners. The Terrifier film series has grown to encompass three chilling and gruesome movies, with a fourth installment currently under development. Additionally, a haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights is also on the horizon.
At Halloween Horror Nights, visitors can expect an overwhelming amount of gruesome scenes as they attempt to avoid being chosen as Art the Clown’s next target.

Terrifier offers an unnerving haunted house experience, immersing visitors into the disturbing Funhouse of Art the Clown, a chilling character introduced in Terrifier 2. The atmosphere is filled with sights, sounds, and smells that will send shivers down your spine as you witness Art’s grisly kills. Familiar faces such as Vicky and the Little Pale Girl are encountered along the way, and iconic scenes from the series are reenacted for a truly terrifying experience. The Clown Café is a hotbed of chaos, fear lurks in disgusting bathrooms, and holiday joy turns into a deadly Christmas nightmare. To survive, visitors must navigate Art’s twisted world—or risk becoming his next ghastly exhibit.
