After the popular return of the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie to theaters last year, Fathom Entertainment, Saga Arts, and Warner Bros. Pictures are bringing the sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, back to the big screen. Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the 1991 film has been restored in stunning 4K, giving both longtime fans and new audiences a chance to experience it like never before.
The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie returned to theaters in August 2025 and earned $3.7 million domestically. It was originally only scheduled to play for two days, but because so many fans wanted to see Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael, it stayed in theaters for a full four weeks.
