Sydney Sweeney has repeatedly stated she’s had no cosmetic procedures, and recently mentioned a fear of needles as another reason she hasn’t had any work done. Despite this, people continue to speculate about her appearance and body. A lie detector test might finally put the conversation to rest.
I’ve seen Vanity Fair do this with actors for ages, and recently Amanda Seyfried and Sydney from The Housemaid took the bait. It started light – chatting about things like sweat and coffee – but then things got real. Given all the talk lately, Seyfried didn’t hold back and just straight-up asked Sydney, her co-star and the other half of that viral video moment: “Are your boobs real?” It was a surprisingly direct question, and honestly, a pretty bold move.
Okay, so this is awkward, but Amanda Seyfried actually asked me – yes, me – a question everyone seems to be wondering: are my breasts real? Seriously, that happened!
Sydney Sweeney: “Yes.”
Amanda: “Have you ever had any work done on them?”
Sydney: “No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere. “
Lie detector person: “That was truthful.”
It’s understandable why people are talking about this, especially given the attention on Sydney Sweeney’s appearance. It’s become such a talking point that it was even parodied on Saturday Night Live. At this point, if you were Sydney Sweeney, you’d probably be tired of constantly having the same conversation.
She didn’t appear bothered by her co-star’s question, and hopefully Amanda Seyfried’s involvement will finally put an end to the focus on her body. Generally, lie detector tests are considered a reliable way to determine truthfulness. However, it’s worth remembering that Robert Pattinson passed a lie detector test when he said he’d return for another Twilight film, even though many people, including myself, suspect he wasn’t entirely honest. In this instance, though, Sydney Sweeney was flagged as being deceptive when asked about coffee, suggesting there’s a way to identify when she’s telling the truth.
Sweeney recently shared that the persona she presents to the public isn’t truly who she is naturally. However, she confirmed her physical appearance is completely genuine.
