Millie Bobby Brown to star in Prism for Netflix
Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, will star in and executive produce a new supernatural drama series called Prism, coming to Netflix. She’ll be working alongside Rachel Brosnahan and the production company AGBO, run by the Russo brothers, according to Deadline.
Kiernan Shipka will play Cassie, a woman who can talk to ghosts. When strange events start causing spirits to appear everywhere around the globe, she finds herself caught up in a worldwide problem. Cassie needs to figure out what’s causing these ghostly appearances to prevent widespread chaos. What role Rachel Brosnahan will have in the series is currently a mystery.
I’m so excited about this new show! It’s based on a fantastic short story called ‘Prism’ that I first read in Assemble Artifacts magazine. What’s really cool is that Assemble Media is developing it themselves, and the original author, Nick Shafir, is even working on it as a co-producer! Leading the creative side is Etan Frankel, who’s been appointed as showrunner, and I have a great feeling about his vision for the series.
Assemble Media will oversee the production. Joining Brown, through her PCMA company, as executive producers are Brosnahan and Russell Kahn of Scrap Paper Pictures.
AGBO is represented by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, and Alessandra Maman. Jack Heller and Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen from Assemble Media are also producing the project.
Prism marks another collaboration between Brown and Netflix, building on her recent project with AGBO, *The Electric State*. She’s also set to return for *Enola Holmes 3*, planned for release in 2026, and is developing a new romantic comedy, *Just Picture It*, as a producer and lead.
Millie Bobby Brown’s popular series, Stranger Things, will end this year with its fifth and final season. The season will be released in three volumes, starting November 26th and concluding on December 31st.
Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for Prism.
