According to reports, HBO Max says Superman has been viewed 13 million times worldwide since it began streaming on September 19th. This is the biggest 10-day audience for a pay-1 film on the platform since Barbie arrived in December 2023. James Gunn’s superhero film also boosted viewership of other Superman titles on HBO Max. Several saw a significant increase in global views around the time the DCU movie started streaming, including Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story (+670%), Superman: The Movie (+155%), Superman Returns (+120%), and Man of Steel (+40%).
