Studio Ghibli Reveals New Collectible Plushie Series for Fans of Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle & More

People who love popular Studio Ghibli films like *My Neighbor Totoro* and *Howl’s Moving Castle* can now collect adorable plush toys inspired by these movies, thanks to a new line called Komorebi.

The retailer’s online store now features a new line of Komorebi plush toys based on beloved characters. There are seven different plushies, priced between ¥3,080 and ¥5,280 (about $20 to $35 each). Unfortunately, the Hin plush from *Howl’s Moving Castle* is already sold out, and the remaining plushies are likely to sell quickly too.

Studio Ghibli’s New Plush Toy Line Debuts Catbus, Calcifer, Hin & More

Besides the plush of Hin, Studio Ghibli’s *Howl’s Moving Castle* is also represented by a Calcifer plush – the small fire demon. Fans can also find a plush of the Fox Squirrel from *Laputa: Castle in the Sky*, along with four popular cat characters. Other available plushes include Jiji and Lily from *Kiki’s Delivery Service* and Moon from *Whisper of the Heart*. The Baron, however, is the most expensive and largest plush in the entire Komorebi collection.

The new Komorebi plushies are the latest in a series of products celebrating classic Studio Ghibli films like *Kiki’s Delivery Service* and *My Neighbor Totoro*. Just recently, Donguri Sora brought back their popular enamel kitchenware line inspired by these two films. This collection includes a unique Hollow Drip Kettle decorated with characters and designs from both movies, as well as microwave-safe bowls with Air Valves and kitchen canisters – ideal for storing tea, sugar, or other cooking essentials close at hand.

Studio Ghibli is famous for its heartwarming, family-friendly films, but the work of co-founder Hayao Miyazaki is much more diverse. Soon, fans can revisit Miyazaki’s first directed film, *Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cogliostro* (1979), with a new Collector’s Edition release from Crunchyroll and Discotek Media. This special edition is available for pre-order now and includes extras like interviews with the cast and crew, an art gallery, original trailers, and a commentary track with Discotek Media’s Reed Nelson. The *Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cogliostro* Steelbook Collector’s Edition will be released on December 15th.
