Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 Trailer: The Gang Takes on Vecna

The first part of Stranger Things Season 5 arrives on November 26th, and a new trailer has just been released. It shows the group reunited and battling the forces of the Upside Down.

At a special event called Netflix x CicLAvia, fans got a first look at the trailer for the first part of Stranger Things season 5. The event, called “One Last Ride,” brought Stranger Things fans together for a bike ride, skate, or walk along Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, celebrating the show’s final season.

The new trailer features Dustin, Will, Mike, and Lucas back together as they get ready for one last battle against Vecna and the terrifying creatures from the Upside Down.

In the latest trailer, Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven and David Harbour’s Hopper seem to be traveling through the Upside Down towards Hawkins Laboratory, suggesting they’re going straight to the origin of the problems. While Sadie Sink’s Max isn’t seen, this is likely because of the severe injuries she sustained in season four, which left her in a coma.

The world of Stranger Things will continue even after season 5 concludes. The creators, the Duffer Brothers, have announced a new animated spin-off series called Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, planned for release in 2026. This new show will reimagine familiar characters with a completely new voice cast.

Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of Stranger Things, will be moving to Paramount after their contract with Netflix ends in April 2026. They plan to produce feature films through their company, Upside Down Pictures. However, they’re still working on a Stranger Things spin-off called Tales from ’85 and recently told Deadline they’re making good progress.

With Vecna now in control of Hawkins, the future is uncertain for many characters, and it’s likely someone will meet a truly shocking end in the fifth season. According to creators Matt and Ross Duffer in an interview with Variety, this season will feature the most violent death in the series so far. While fans are speculating about who might die, the actors are keeping the details secret.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will premiere on Netflix with Volume 1 on November 26th at 8 p.m. Eastern Time / 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Volume 2 will be available on December 25th, and the series finale will be released on December 31st, both on Netflix and in certain movie theaters.
