I’m so hyped for the next *LEGO Star Wars* series! Apparently, it’s going to feature eight different Sith characters, which is wild. The show, *LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past*, continues the story of Sig Greebling, a young Jedi, but with a really cool twist – the entire Star Wars timeline is all mixed up and changed. It sounds like a totally fresh take on the universe!
The series features some surprising characters, like Jabba the Hutt wielding the Force, a benevolent Emperor Palpatine, and the famously humorous Darth Jar Jar Binks.
The new Disney+ series, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past, premieres on September 19, 2025. This season of Rebuild the Galaxy will have four episodes and continues the story of Sig Greebling (played by Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things) as he tries to fix a chaotic Star Wars galaxy.
Every Sith Character in LEGO Star Wars: Pieces of the Past
Darth Rey
Darth Rey, a character hinted at in the recent Star Wars films, has now officially joined the Star Wars universe through the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy series. This new take on Daisy Ridley’s character embraces her family history with the villainous Emperor Palpatine, transforming her into a powerful Sith Lord like her grandfather.
Darth Rey was a supporting villain in the first season of *Rebuild the Galaxy*. She was the apprentice of the main villain, Dev Greebling, who was portrayed by Tony Revolori (known for his role in *Spider-Man: Homecoming*).
Darth Dev
Darth Dev, also known as Darth Devistator, is back for more after his scheme was foiled in the first season of *Rebuild the Galaxy*. The villain is voiced by Tony Revolori, who you might recognize from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he’s actually the brother of the show’s hero, Sig Greebling.
Dev was a powerful Sith lord who once controlled the galaxy in a different version of reality. He was released from his confinement when Sig activated the Cornerstone, a device that merges fragments of various realities with the main Star Wars timeline.
Darth Revan
Star Wars fans have long hoped for the return of Darth Revan, a popular villain from the much-loved video game *Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic*.
The long-awaited appearance of Revan will finally happen in *LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past*, as a quick shot of the masked character was included in the show’s first trailer. This is Revan’s debut in a Star Wars TV series, after a planned role in *Star Wars: The Clone Wars* was ultimately cut.
Darth Jar Jar
The idea that Jar Jar Binks was secretly a powerful Sith Lord has been a popular fan theory in the Star Wars community since the early 2000s. After the clumsy Gungan first appeared in *The Phantom Menace*, some viewers jokingly suggested he was the hidden manipulator behind the events that led to the Republic’s downfall.
What started as a popular fan idea became reality when Darth Jar Jar appeared in the first season of *Rebuild the Galaxy*, with Ahmed Best – the original actor who played Jar Jar – providing the voice. Now, the character is returning to cause even more galactic trouble, continuing his reign of “bombad” chaos.
Darth Kit Fisto
As a huge Star Wars fan, I’ve been following the *Rebuild the Galaxy* series, and it’s been wild seeing how they’re reimagining things. One of the biggest surprises is Darth Kit Fisto! It’s a really dark take on the character – they’ve turned this beloved Jedi Master into a villain, working under Darth Dev. It’s definitely a different side of him than we’re used to, and it feels a bit outside of established Star Wars lore, but it’s interesting to see where they take it.
But he’ll return in the second season seeking revenge, after the Dev defeated Kit Fisto and the other apprentices at the end of Season 1.
Darth Rose Tico
Rose Tico, played by Kelly Marie Tran, first appeared in the Star Wars sequel films as a new member of the Resistance. She joined the main group after her sister died in the Battle of D’Qar.
In *Rebuild the Galaxy*, Rose undergoes a dramatic transformation, becoming the powerful Darth Rose Tico. She’s a former apprentice of Darth Dev, who defeated her in the final battle of Season 1. Alongside Darth Rey, she hired several bounty hunters at the end of the first season, hoping to track down Sig Greebling and his heroic team.
Darth Jym the Jawa
If you’ve ever wondered what a Jawa who uses the Force would look like in the Star Wars universe, *Rebuild the Galaxy* delivers! It introduces Darth Jym, a Jawa Sith Lord who’s determined to prevent Sig Greebling from restoring the galaxy and obtaining the Cornderstone.
This character is a Jawa – like the hooded scavengers from the original *Star Wars* movie – but with a dark twist. Instead of collecting droids for profit, this Jawa draws power from the dark side and wields a glowing red lightsaber.
Maul
Darth Maul, a famous villain from the Star Wars saga, is the final major Sith character confirmed to appear in the upcoming TV show. Though he first appeared and seemingly died in *Episode I*, Maul has continued to play a significant role in the Star Wars universe.
He’s continued to appear in shows like *The Clone Wars* and *Rebels*, and has an upcoming series called *Maul: Shadow Lord*. He also plays a villain in the game *Rebuild the Galaxy*, opposing the main characters.
Darth Obi-Wan
Similar to alternate versions like Darth Rey or Darth Kit Fisto, Darth Obi-Wan is a version of the beloved Jedi Master who fell to the dark side instead of staying with the Jedi Order, as he did in the main Star Wars story.
Promotional clips for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars series show Darth Obi-Wan appearing alongside Darth Revan, suggesting they’ve joined forces to take over the galaxy.
