A popular animated series for young children is ending its run today, though it may return in the future. The final three episodes of Star Trek: Scouts, the Star Trek show designed for preschoolers, are now streaming on YouTube.

The final three episodes of Star Trek: Scouts complete the second part of the season, titled “Holodeck Rescues.” The first part of the season was called “Asteroid Blasters.” You can now watch all 20 episodes of Star Trek: Scouts on the Blaze and the Monster Machines YouTube channel.

I was so excited when Star Trek: Scouts came out – it was the very first animated Star Trek series, and also designed for really young kids! When it first started, everyone said there would be 20 episodes. Now that those first 20 have aired, though, I haven’t heard anything about whether they’re making any more, which is a little disappointing.

As a big Star Trek fan, I saw Star Trek: Scouts as the franchise trying something new again, aiming for a different audience in the world of streaming. It reminded me of Star Trek: Prodigy, which sadly didn’t quite take off. It feels like a lot of major franchises are doing this lately – trying new things after shows like , and before .
