Spider-Man Lego: 9 Spider-Verse Characters Get First-Ever Minifigure

Over a dozen characters from “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” received their very first LEGO makeover. Released to critical acclaim in June 2023, this sequel built on the success of its predecessor, “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” from 2018. With an abundance of fresh faces both heroic and villainous, Sony has been aggressively marketing a multitude of new Spider-people to capitalize on the hype surrounding this highly anticipated sequel.

LEGO has unveiled a series of collectible Minifigures based on the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, showcasing various characters from the film. The film, a sequel to its predecessor, has amplified the number of characters and intricate plotlines. Although Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy are popular figures, numerous other characters have left lasting impressions over the past seven years.

The recently launched LEGO set presents nine fresh characters, each receiving their debut LEGO Minifigs for the first time. This collection includes Miles Morales (portrayed by Shameik Moore), Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Man India (Karan Soni), and Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac).

In the Spider-Verse series, the action figures of specific characters are equipped with enjoyable accessories that mirror their looks, such as a lasso for Cowboy Spider-Man and a guitar for Spider-Punk.

It seems that each Minifigure can be purchased separately, coming in its own package. This purchase option is set to become available at a price of £3.49 from September 1, 2025.

On June 2, 2023, the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was launched. This film follows Miles Morales’ complete adventure across multiple universes, starting from where his initial solo appearance in 2018 ended. Shameik Moore brings Miles to life as he encounters the Spider Society, who educate him about the multiverse and his role within it. Who’s Missing From Across the Spider-Verse LEGO Minifigs

Despite a variety of characters featured in these minifigs, several key heroes from both “Across the Spider-Verse” and “Into the Spider-Verse” didn’t make the final cut. Characters such as Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Rio Morales are yet to be transformed into LEGO figures, even though quite some time has passed since their film debuts.

On the same day as another set honoring “Across the Spider-Verse,” these minifigures will also be unveiled. Details about the other set are still under wraps, but it’s anticipated to feature approximately a dozen exclusive Minifigs showcasing characters from the film, among them Miles, Gwen, and Pavitr Prabhaker – figures that aren’t present in this collection.

Moving forward, Sony is planning to start production on the eagerly awaited sequel to “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,” set for a theater release on June 25, 2027. In the meantime, there might be an opportunity for LEGO to introduce new characters from this film or its previous versions in their Minifig lineup.
