Sony Pictures’ distributor in Kazakhstan, Ascar Cinema, revealed on Instagram that the first trailer for the new Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, will be released on Wednesday. Fans in Kazakhstan can watch it at 4:05 PM local time, while viewers in the US can tune in at 7:05 AM Eastern Time or 4:05 AM Pacific Time, according to The Direct.
Ascar Cinema quickly took down the post, which implies that Sony and Marvel weren’t ready to announce the trailer release date for Spider-Man 4.
A key update from Sony Pictures’ distributor in Kazakhstan follows a recent report that the film’s trailer will be released online on March 18th.
Considering how Marvel usually releases trailers, a Wednesday launch for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer seems likely. This is because Ryan Gosling’s film, Project Hail Mary, comes out on March 20th. Since Sony Pictures is handling international distribution for the new Spider-Man movie, they could show the trailer before screenings of Project Hail Mary. Marvel recently did something similar with the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, releasing four short previews during showings of Avatar: Fire and Ash over a month-long period.
Even though we still don’t know exactly when the trailer will be released, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
