Rumors suggest the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie might include another character from the old Netflix Marvel series, in addition to the Punisher and The Hand. While it won’t be Charlie Cox as Daredevil, fans are now guessing whether characters like Kingpin, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, or Jessica Jones could make an appearance, according to insider Daniel Richtman.
Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the upcoming Spider-Man movie, with a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Zendaya, who won an Emmy for her role as MJ, and Jacob Batalon as Ned will be back. The cast also includes Sadie Sink (known from Stranger Things), Jon Bernthal reprising his role as the Punisher, Liza Colón-Zayas (from The Bear), Michael Mando (Better Call Saul) as Scorpion, Marvin Jones III (Black Lightning) as Tombstone, and Tramell Tillman (Severance).
Mark Ruffalo will return as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the upcoming movie, confirmed by photos from the set, after initially suggesting he wasn’t involved. There’s also been talk that Hulk might transform into his more aggressive and dangerous form, known as the Savage Hulk, potentially linking to earlier rumors about his appearance in a future Spider-Man film. There’s been talk that actor Tillman could be taking on the role of the leader of the Department of Damage Control. At the same time, fans are still buzzing about the character actress Sink will play, with many believing she might be cast as Jean Grey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially since she’s also confirmed to be in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.
